I was delighted to attend the APPG for ADHD in June 2019. My client, Michelle Beckett invited me. It was humbling to see her tireless efforts to address and manage ADHD on government level. Jo Platt, MP for Leigh, Wigan, a passionate ADHD advocate was the chairperson. Jo works closely with Michelle in their ADHD advocacy mission.
Michelle Beckett, founder of ADHD Action and the APPG for ADHD posted on facebook,
Justice Minister Robert Buckland committed to looking seriously and urgently at how we help those with ADHD in the criminal justice system, reduce reoffending and prevent them falling into crime in the first place.
With this commitment and dedication I’m very encouraged that we can secure meaningful change for those with ADHD over the coming weeks.”
