3 top tips to declutter from Organise your Home Like a Pro
1.Take your thumb and forefinger and shape them into a circle. Place it in front of you and look through it.
Rest your gaze on one area in the room and Now. Just. Start!
2.Get 3 black bags. Label one RUBBISH, one CHARITY SHOP and one I DON’T KNOW. Start to place your clutter into one of those bags. The stuff that you feel very emotionally attached to put into the I DON’T KNOW bag. Come back to it after 2 weeks and you will have a clear answer what you need to do with those items.
3.Starting and finishing can be daunting. Get a friend to be present to start you off and be there to help you finish off those last horrible niggly bits that can be so overwhelming.
Decluttering is truly healing. It is the gateway to the rest of your life.
